Recent research confirms that IQ acounts for less thatn 25% of one's ability to be successful in life. On the other hand, people who have a high EQ (Emotional Quoitent) are able to uderstand and manage strong feelings, persist in the face of frustrations and traumas, build strong and meaningful relationships, and are likely to be both happy and successful in life. It is the emotional intelligence therefore that matters more for superior performance and a happy life.
PRAFULTA Mental Health Centres promote emotional intelligence, offer counselling, help people with learning difficulty (LD), and deal with psychological and psychiatric disorders.
PRAFULTA offers a full range of mental health services to people of all ages. This includes the administration of psychotropic medication (whenever needed), psychological testing and evaluation.
PRAFULTA develops programmes in psycho - spiritual integration to help clients bring a wholeness and find a deeper meaning in their lives.
PRAFULTA uses individual, group and family counselling to facilitate those who require assistance to cope with and successfully resolve the problems they face in everyday life. Our Vocational Guidance Programme enables students to make better career choices.
PRAFULTA addreses a wide range of problems such as depression, personality disorder, sexual problems, anxiety, phobia, stress, trauma and other psychological ailments.
PRAFULTA does psycho-educational assessment to evaluate the extent of learning disability and offers remedial help to enable children to cope with Learning Difficulty.
OUR MISSION is to provide quality psychological and psychiatric services that are effective & efficient. We help individuals (especially youth), groups and families move towards optimal, independent functioning and improve their quality of life. We do this in a manner that respects the diversity in the people we serve. As a Multi-service Centre, we strive to reach out with compassionate care to serve those in psychological distress.
OUR AIM is to help clients understand and accept the influences of their environment, take personal responsibility for their behaviour and create a better future for themselves.
